Accidental overdoses rise in ACT

The number of Canberrans dying from unintentional overdoses has jumped by 22 per cent in five years.

There has been a rise in the number of deaths linked to the use of multiple drugs, including benzodiazepines and stimulants.

A report by the Penington Institute shows accidental overdoses in the ACT have tripled in the past decade.
