Canberra Liberals Announce plan for Canberra's South

The Canberra Liberals have announced their plan for Canberra's south, which they say will save the average family $1500 dollars on their rates bill annually, and also deliver better services.

The party has remained tight-lipped on how they'll pay for their spending splurge outside of growing the Territory's revenue pie, which Chief Minister Andrew Barr has described as irresponsible.

Included in today's promises are upgrades to Phillip Oval, a new police station and fire and ambulance station for Molonglo, more after-hours GPs in Weston Creek, and upgrades to local shops at Chifley, Pearce, Torrens, Duffy, Fisher and Chapman.
